Our approach
The company’s CSR philosophy centres on sustainable community growth and environmental stewardship. Investment is directed at the communities that host our operations and at the road users who share our routes.
Four areas we put money and time into.
Education and youth skills
Support for schools and for skills training that leads to employable trades. Transport and logistics needs mechanics, drivers and coordinators; training people locally is how those roles get filled.
Health and sanitation
Projects that improve health and sanitation conditions in the communities that host our operations, chosen in consultation with those communities rather than decided for them.
Tree planting
Planting campaigns that offset the environmental impact of a road transport business and restore local cover.
Road safety
Awareness campaigns and driver training. A haulage company shares the road with everyone else on it, and the standard our drivers hold is a public safety matter, not just an internal one.
Treated as an operational matter.
Sustainability is treated as an operational matter — fleet maintenance that reduces emissions and breakdowns, responsible practices in host communities, and an active interest in renewable-energy transport and green logistics as those options mature in Ghana.
