Export containers at the Port of Tema

Commodity trading

Minerals, timber and industrial commodities, traded in compliance with Ghana's export regulations.

Overview

Sigman Enterprise trades and distributes precious minerals, timber and industrial commodities, working with suppliers and buyers both in Ghana and abroad.

Compliance is treated as a condition of doing business, not an afterthought. Every transaction is handled in line with Ghana's export regulations and established trade ethics.

The company's own haulage capacity supports the trading division, so movement from source to buyer stays under the same management.

Precious minerals

Trading and distribution of precious minerals through established supplier and buyer relationships.

Timber

Timber traded and distributed under Ghana’s export documentation requirements.

Industrial commodities

Industrial commodities sourced and distributed to purchasers in Ghana and beyond.

Regulatory compliance

Every transaction handled in line with Ghana's export regulations and established trade ethics.

Scope

What's included, and what isn't.

Being explicit about the second column is the point. It is cheaper for both of us to disagree now than on the day.

What’s included

  • Sourcing of precious minerals, timber and industrial commodities
  • Verification of how a consignment was sourced
  • Export documentation prepared ahead of movement
  • Movement of the consignment on our own fleet
  • Pricing agreed per transaction or under a supply partnership

What’s not

  • Any transaction requiring a licence or permit we do not hold
  • Speculative trading on a client’s behalf
  • Assaying, grading or laboratory certification
  • Financing of a buyer’s purchase
Compliance

How we handle compliance.

Every transaction is handled in line with Ghana’s export regulations and established trade ethics. Documentation is prepared before cargo moves, not after. Where a transaction requires a licence or permit we do not hold, we say so at the outset rather than proceeding.

Working with us

As a supplier, or as a buyer.

As a supplier

  • Clear terms agreed before a consignment is committed
  • Pricing agreed per transaction or under a supply partnership
  • Movement handled by our own fleet rather than subcontracted out

As a buyer

  • Verified sourcing you can trace back through the consignment
  • Compliant documentation prepared ahead of movement
  • Delivery under one management line, from purchase to arrival

Before you enquire

What we need from you.

Send these six things and the first reply can be a quote rather than a question.

Pickup and delivery addresses

Where the load starts and where it has to end up, as precisely as you can give it.

Cargo description

What it is, how it is packaged, and whether it is palletised, bagged, loose or containerised.

Approximate weight or volume

An estimate is enough. If you are not sure, tell us what you do know and we will work from that.

Preferred dates

The window you need it moved in, and whether the date is fixed or flexible.

Site access restrictions

Height or weight limits, soft ground, narrow approaches, or anything that affects turnaround.

Special handling or documentation

Securing requirements, permits, or paperwork the destination expects on arrival.
